Pin Tuck Duvet Cover

I pin tucked a duvet cover I purchased to match pillow shams I had made last spring.

I'll show you how to make pin tucks after the cut.

I measured the duvet cover and decided to place my pin tucks 10 inches apart.  I made a template 10 inches square and drew intersecting lines at the five inch mark on each side.

I turned the duvet cover inside out, laid it out flat and then using the template as a guide, I made a mark every 10 inches using a washable pencil.

For the second row, stagger the marks, starting off with the first mark 5 inches in from the one on the previous row. For the third row, start off your mark in the same position as you did in the first row. Alternate placement for each following row.

Your grid marks should look like this:

Grasp the fabric where it is marked with your finger tips and then twist the end.

Stitch back and forth a quarter of an inch from the end a few times.

And that's it. Simple.

  1. You make this look so simple! Do you need to add additional fabric to allow for the pin tucks? Thanks for this tutorial,

  2. Wow, what a simple thing to do to make your duvet cover look lovely. Still loving your pillows that you did! Can't wait to try to make some for myself.

are you using for this website? I'm getting tired of Wordpress because I've had problems with
hackers and I'm looking at options for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

I do have a couple of questions for you if you do
not mind. Could it be just me or does it give the impression
like a few of these remarks look like they are written
by brain dead people? :-P And, if you are posting on other social sites, I'd like to keep up with everything new you have to post. Could you list of the complete urls of all your social sites like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
